hired a high-level magic user to unlock the mysterious door.<span

ly
empty, except for a trap door in the floor.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>The windows in the room had been b=
ricked
up.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal style=3D'text-indent:.5in'>The trap door in the floor =
opened
easily enough, but the area below was totally dark.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>When the magic-user cast a light s=
pell
through the trap door, she saw an empty room with an opening leading to a
corridor.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>She was not willing=
 to
explore further, either on her own or in the company of a larger party.<span
